Columbia Valley AVA This is a dry, medium bodied wine with good acidity. It has the flavors you would expect from a Cabernet Sauvignon - black cherries, black pepper, oaky vanilla, but it surprises you with roasted bell pepper, red plus, & spice - courtesy of a dash of Cabernet Franc, which balances out the Cab. Sauv. to give a nice herbaceous complexity. Pair this with rich, savory meats and sauces, or a nice charcuterie plate. This wine is best enjoyed now, or within 5 years.
